Included tools
- Backup: save a whole USB drive or SD card to a compressed .dsnap file.
- Restore: restore a .dsnap backup to a drive at least as large as its original source.
- Clone: copy one USB drive or SD card directly to another.
- Make Bootable: write supported images or prepare Windows installation media.
Freeware
All four tools are free for personal and business use. No activation, licence key or paid unlock is required. Donations are optional.
Before you begin
Restore, Clone and Make Bootable overwrite the selected destination. Check the drive identities and keep an independent copy of important data. Results are verified by default. Bootability also depends on the image and the target computer.
Windows edition
The x64 installer includes Microsoft .NET 10.0.12. It is unsigned. Read the installation and Windows security guidance before installing.
